Air

Twickenham is approximately

6 miles from London Heathrow,
20 miles from London City Airport,
30 miles from London Gatwick and
40 miles from London Luton.

If you are travelling from London, you may find the Transport for London journey planner useful.

Train/London Underground

Regular mainline trains run to Twickenham station from Waterloo and Reading. The station is a short walk from the Stadium. For more information, visit the South West Trains official website.           http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk

The London Underground runs to Richmond on the District Line and to Hounslow on the Piccadilly Line.

The London Overground local train service also runs to Richmond.

National Express Coaches

Direct coach services depart for Twickenham Stadium from 22 major towns and cities across the UK. You can connect to these services from more than a thousand destinations on the National Express network.

RFU Shuttle Bus Service

Please note: Apologies but there is no shuttle bus service scheduled for the Oxford v Cambridge Varsity Match.

Bus

Buses 281, 267 and H22 all run regular services which pass close to the stadium. Alternatively, take a 33, R68, R70, 290 or 490 bus to Twickenham town centre (King Street) – the stadium is a 10 to 15 minutes’ walk away.

Taxi

Details of pick up and drop off arrangements will be available on   these pages a few days prior to the match.

Parking restrictions and road closures apply around the stadium.

Car Parking

All the roads surrounding the stadium are for resident permit holders only and any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away.

On-site car parking is extremely limited and is largely pre-allocated for international matches. Parking is generally available on site for non-international matches and concerts if booked in advance.

It is recommended that you pre-book a car parking space using a booking form available in the parking section.

Please note that pre-bookings will close at 1pm on the Wednesday before a weekend event or on the Friday before a midweek event.

Bicycles & Motorbikes

Free parking facilities are available in the Stadium’s North and West car parks. Pre-booking may be required for some events for motorcycles. Contact carparking@therfu.com for further details.

Road

Twickenham Stadium is on the northern side of the A316 into London. From the M25 motorway, exit at Junction 12 on to the M3. This becomes the A316, and Twickenham Stadium is off the Whitton Road roundabout next to the Lexus/Toyota car dealership. From London, turn right off the A316 at the Whitton Road roundabout.

Please arrive early to avoid congestion and temporary road closures prior to the event.
